Established by Korean immigrants as the first Korean American bank in 1982, Hanmi Bank’s founding principles were to help guide and support fellow Korean American immigrants in fulfilling their dreams. Hanmi now serves multi-ethnic communities through a network of 35 branches and 8 loan production offices across 9 states, coast-to-coast. Giving Back
Launched in 2016, the Hanmi Bank Dream Scholarship provides educational support to at-risk youth, helping them achieve their educational goals and future dreams. Unlike scholarships based solely on academic merit, the Hanmi Bank Dream Scholarship is largely focused on supporting foster youth and youth who have experienced life disruption due to unstable living situations or domestic violence.
